Yes, now you can process credit cards directly in QuickBooks. Here's how:
- Accept your customer's payment
Using the QuickBooks "Receive Payment" screen, enter the amount of the sale and click the box titled "Process Credit Card When Saving".
- Enter credit card info
Using your computer keyboard, type in your customer's credit card info. Then, click Submit... and processing automatically begins.
- View & print the receipt
When the transaction is approved, simply print the receipt shown on-screen. If an error occurs, you can void the transaction, too.
NOTE: QuickBooks Merchant Service works with QuickBooks 2010, 2011 and 2012 (except EasyStart Free Edition and EasyStart 2012). Also works with Enterprise 9.0 and up.
